RT8800/B 是通用多相同步降壓控制器，專為高密度電源供應調節而設計。這些元件實作 2 相與 3 相降壓切換級，並以自動設定的交錯相位運作。輸出電壓會依循 FB 腳位的輸入電壓進行調節與控制。透過此單一類比控制，RT8800/B 可為各種高密度電源供應應用提供簡單、靈活、寬範圍且極具成本效益的高密度電壓調節解決方案。RT8800/B 的多相架構可提供高輸出電流，同時維持功率元件的低功耗，並降低輸入與輸出電容的應力。高等效工作頻率亦可縮小元件尺寸，並降低負載暫態時的輸出電壓漣波。RT8800/B 同時實作電壓與電流迴路，以達成良好的調節、響應與功率級熱平衡。RT8800/B 亦新採用分時 DCR 電流感測技術；透過此拓撲，RT8800/B 以輸出電感的 DCR 作為感測元件，以提供更精準的負載線調節與更佳的熱平衡能力。此外，這些元件會監測輸出電壓，以提供過電流與過壓保護；亦提供軟啟動與可程式化欠壓鎖定，以確保電源系統的安全性。
