RT8800A是一通用型多相同步降壓轉換器，適合高功率密度應用，可在自動的錯相設定中執行2或3同步降壓轉換階段。此多相架構讓供電應用在高輸出電流中，可維持低功耗和輸入、輸出電容的低應力。輸出電壓透過PI接腳的外部參考電壓精確調節，當配合DAC發生器RT9401A/B，即可提供Intel<SUP>®</SUP> VRD10.x 或AMD<SUP>®</SUP> K8標準輸出電壓。RT8800A採用創新的時分 DCR 電流檢測技術實施電流平衡操作、降壓調整和過流保護，並用檢測電流的通用GM放大器消除偏移誤差及GM間的線性不一致性。由於現代的主機板普遍使用了低於毫歐姆級的電感，小的偏移和線性不一致性即可導致可觀的相間電流不平衡，這讓時分DCR技術更加重要，確保大規模量產中的電流平衡效果。RT8800A 的設計中還包含了多種其它特性，如過壓保護、欠壓保護和內部軟起動等。其封裝為 VQFN-16L 3x3。
