RT8820A 是一款 2/1 相同步降壓 PWM 控制器，針對高效能繪圖微處理器與電腦應用進行最佳化。此 IC 整合固定導通時間 (COT) PWM 控制器、兩個具內部自舉二極體的 MOSFET 驅動器，以及通道電流平衡與保護功能，包括過壓保護 (OVP)、欠壓保護 (UVP)、電流限制與熱關斷，並整合於 WQFN-20L 3x3 封裝中。RT8820A 採用 R<sub>DS(ON)</sub> 電流感測技術。電流限制透過連續電感電流感測來實現，而 R<sub>DS(ON)</sub> 電流感測則用於精準的通道電流平衡。此電流取樣方法充分利用各項技術的最佳優勢。RT8820A 具備外部參考輸入與 PWM-VID 動態輸出電壓控制，其中回授電壓會被調節並追蹤外部輸入參考電壓。其他功能包括可調式切換頻率、動態相數控制、內部軟啟動、電源良好指示器與啟用功能。
