RT8867是整合了3組 MOSFET 驅動器的改進型4/3相同步 Buck 控制器，它整合了8位 DAC 以支援 Intel VR11.x 和 VR10.x CPU 的電源供應，使用了最先進的動態相位控制技術，可在 PS1/2/3 等引腳的控制下動態改變工作相數，可在很寬的負載範圍內獲得很高的效率。它使用了無損耗的 R<sub>DS(ON)</sub> 電流檢測技術進行電流平衡操作，其工作頻率可調，軟起動可調，具有短路保護、可調的過流保護、過壓保護、欠壓保護等功能，還有電源準備好、VR_HOT 和 <span class="overline">VR_SHDN</span>等指示信號輸出。<br>RT8867採用 WQFN-48L 6x6 的小型封裝。
