RT8869A 是集成了兩組 MOSFET 驅動器的改進型 2/1 相同步 Buck 控制器，它集成了一個8位 DAC 以支持 Intel VR11.x CPU 的電源供應，採用了由 PS1 引腳控制的動態相數控制技術以便在寬廣的負載範圍內獲得高效率，使用無損耗的 R<sub>DS(ON)</sub> 電流檢測技術實施電流平衡操作。它的工作頻率是可調的，軟啟動也可調整，還有短路保護、可調過流保護、過壓保護、欠壓保護、電源狀態指示、VR_HOT 指示和 <span class="overline">VR_SHDN</span> 指示等功能。其封裝規格是 WQFN-40L 5x5 。
