RT8889C 是符合 VR12.5 規範的集成了3組驅動器的3相 PWM 控制器，採用立錡專有的基於有限直流增益誤差放大器的電流模式控制器的 G-NAVP<sup>TM</sup> 架構，易於設定壓降特性，符合所有 Intel CPU 對 AVP 性能的需求，有快速回應機制可在瞬變負載條件下獲得優化的 AVP 性能，支援正在不同工作狀態下的模式轉換功能，有串列 VID 介面可與 Intel VR12.5 相容的 CPU 進行通訊，可以快、慢和自然的電壓/電流 變動率支援 VID 跳變，即使在 CCM 模式下，其工作頻率也可隨著 VID、負載電流和輸入電壓的變化而變化以提高效率。此外，它所採用的 CCRCOT (Constant Current Ripple Constant On Time) 技術可在全輸入、輸出範圍內保持超低的輸出電壓漣波，內建的高精度 DAC 可將 SVID 編碼轉換為 0.5V~3.04V 的電壓，電壓級差僅為 10mV。它具有內建的高精度 ADC 可用於基礎設定功能，如無負載偏移量、過流保護閾值均可如此設定。它還提供 VR Ready 輸出信號，具有過壓保護、欠壓保護、負壓保護、過流和欠壓閉鎖等功能。其封裝為 WQFN-40L 5x5。
