RT9206為低單價，整合了PWM電壓模式的降壓型轉換器控制器、兩組高壓型線性控制器的多組整合型轉換器控制器，可直接驅動外部的N-MOSFET簡易的實現具高效率與低價位的電源解決方案。電壓模式的控制回路以及具備外部補償網路的固定頻率操作，在寬操作範圍內提供了更佳的穩定性。可調的操作頻率最高達600kHz可減少所需電感大小與PCB的設計面積。可適用於寬輸入電壓範圍(4.75V至 28V)與多組輸出的應用。線性控制器的特色為設計自由度高，輸出功率的大小可藉由所選擇的N-MOSFET 決定，輸出電壓可由外接的電阻分壓進行設計。0.8V的參考電壓可滿足大多數的設計應用。低電壓閂鎖功能可提供輸出有效的保護。RT9206提供完整的保護功能:緩啟動、過電流保護、過電壓與低電壓保護。可藉由所選擇的MOSFET以決定電流限制的大小。同步降壓型控制模式藉由開啟低端MOSFET以達到過電壓保護機制，防止在異常的過電壓產生時，毀壞終端裝置的情形發生。
