RT9396 是用於手機背光和攝像頭應用的電源管理IC，其中含有6通道的電荷泵型 LED 驅動器和4個低壓差線性穩壓器。由電荷泵驅動的多達6只 LED 經過定電流源的調節可得到一致的電流，每只 LED 的電流最大可達 25mA 。這6只 LED 可被變成分為 4+2的組合或是5+1的組合，它們可被分別設定不同的電流以滿足不同應用的需要。RT9396 通過使用 x1/x1.5/x2等不同的電荷泵工作模式和低壓差電流調節器維持其驅動 LED 的高效率，一個內置的6位 DAC 轉換器被用來對背光亮度進行控制，用戶可以很容易地通過 I<sup>2</sup>C 介面對 LED 電流進行控制已取得這一效果，其分辨級數可達64級。RT9396 還包含了4個低雜訊、低壓差的線性穩壓器，每個穩壓器的輸出電流能力為 200mA，它們的輸出電壓誤差範圍在3%以內，200mA負載時的最小壓降可達 200mV ，用戶可通過 I<sup>2</sup>C 介面對穩壓器的輸出電壓進行設定。這些穩壓器也提供電流限制和過溫保護功能。RT9396 的可用封裝是 WQFN-24L 3x3 。
