RT9706 為一高性價比、低電壓、單 N-MOSFET 的高側電源開關，適用於自供電 (self-powered) 和匯流排供電 (bus- powered) 的串列匯流排 (USB) 應用。RT9706 內含一個電荷泵電路來驅動內部 MOSFET 開關，開關的 80mΩ低導通電組 (R<sub>DS(ON)</sub>) 符合 USB 的壓降要求，且具有一個輸出指示信號來表示錯誤狀況給 USB 控制器。其它特點包括插入時的軟啟動，用來限制湧入電流、過熱關斷，用來防止開關因高電流負載造成的嚴重失效、欠壓鎖定 (UVLO)，確保有有效的輸入電壓出現前，IC 保持關機。RT9706 提供 SOT-23-5 封裝。
