RT9953 是為數位相機和其它掌上型設備設計的完整電源供應方案，是一款多通道的電源管理 IC ，其中包括1路同步升壓型 DC/DC 轉換器、一路可在同步升壓和降壓之間進行選擇的 DC/DC 轉換器、兩路同步降壓型 Dc/DC 轉換器和一路低壓差線性穩壓器。</br>RT9953 被設計來滿足 DSC 的下述需求：</br>CH1 的同步升壓輸出為馬達或是 DSC 系統的 I/O 部分供電。</br>CH2 的可選擇的同步升壓或降壓輸出為馬達或 DSC 系統的 I/O 部分供電。</br>CH3/4 的同步降壓輸出為 DSP 內核和記憶體部分供電。</br>CH5 是一個具有軟起動功能的低壓差、低雜訊、500mA 線性穩壓器。</br>RT9953 的設計目標是支援鋰離子電池和兩節 AA 電池的應用，它的可選擇升壓或降壓的轉換器僅用 SEL 引腳即可進行設置。由於都使用了同步升壓和降壓的架構，它的轉換效率可以高達 95% 。</br>RT9953 提供了過流保護、熱關機保護、過壓/欠壓保護等功能以獲得完整的保護，其可用的封裝是 WQFN-24 4x4 。
