RTQ7880A-QT 是將 USB-C 型埠控制器、PD 協議處理器、Buck-Boost 控制器和眾多功能集成在一起的積體電路，可以作為 USB PD 電源供應器來使用。它內置ARM Cortex™-M0 MCU，可完成各種不同協議的收發處理，完成 Buck-Boost 轉換器的智慧控制，實現各種保護功能和用戶指定的功能。它所實現的保護功能均以硬體為基礎，可進行電感峰值電流限制、VBUS 過壓保護、輸出欠壓保護、VCONN電流限制等等，響應速度快，即使在 MCU 不活動時也能實施保護動作。用它形成的 USB-PD 供電端解決方案功能完善、性能卓越、週邊元件少，PCB 設計簡單、容易。
