The RT7800 is a USB Power Delivery (USB PD) controller with highly integrated functions for notebook, tablet, mobile phone or any other devices with USB Type-C (USB-C) receptacle. It is designed to embed ARM CortexTM-M0 MCU so as to facilitate various functions of communication protocol, protections and customized requirements. The IC allows designer to define a USB-C port as a Provider, Consumer or a Dual Role Port by program setup.
